This morning after breakfast, with Adrille as our guide, we board our bus and headed to Chinchero to walk amongst the old Inka foundations that was a former Temple of the Sun, and explore the plaza, church, and most especially attend the Sunday market.
Driving in our luxurious tour bus is definitely a large step up from the public bus Jerry and I took last year to visit Chinchero’s Sunday Market. Though our bus doesn’t have the ambiance of traveling with locals.

Our route back to Cuzco takes us past Tambomachay, Puka Pukara, Quenko, Sacsayhuaman — all Inka sites where Jerry and I held ceremony last year.
A long, fun day. Most of us opt to have dinner at the hotel and pack afterwards as we will be leaving Cuzco in the morning for the Sacred Valley.
