You know you have a great friend when she is willing both to pick you up and take you to meet your shuttle ride at 10am AND pick you up on your return at midnight! I have such a dear, dear friend -- and her husband even met us outside my gate on horseback to wish bon voyage! Holidays bring on change, and one change in anticipation of London for me is a new hair style and color. No longer a "blond," I gave myself permission (as if I needed it) to shapeshift into a dark chestnut redhead . . I am, after all, Prism. |
On the shuttle we met a Londoner who had been visiting relatives in Santa Maria -- how amazing was that?!? -- which made the 3 hour trip informative as well as much more fun. Gave us time, too, to catch up on all the Royals. Not just baby Charlotte!
Hitting the VIP lounge straight on, we missed exploring the "new to us" renovated Tom Bradley International terminal, which is such welcome make-over! No worries, future international travel will soon rectify that misstep. Air New Zealand provided a wonderful event-free flight with plenty of time to catch up on wine consumption, new episodes of Arrow sleep. Even breakfast with Dior & Me. Regrettably, it wasn't until queuing up to disembark that I discovered a hottie sitting behind me -- Chris, you were totally missed as I will never again miss an opportunity to buy a seat upgrade from you again 😍
